No, I attended Key West High School.
I did attend Coastal Carolina Comm College when I was stationed at Camp Lejeune.
I am looking for a Magazine called The Dixie Digest, for the period of Dec 1979-Feb 1980, in which, I was told, that I was on the cover and featured inside with pictures with the then Mayor Edward Koch of NY. We were doing Toys for Tots at the Airport. My last name then was Gates.
I was the Admin Chief for the El Maco Reserve Unit, Ft. Schuyler, Bronx, NY. Our CO was Capt Dennis DeLisle.
If anyone can find the Mags or article, I would greatly appreciae it & please contact me at my email below.

My Aunt Margaret Taylor was a lady Marine 70 years ago and is now in the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She would love to hear from other Marines. She will be 80 next month and served 4 years. She fell asleep before we could ask her where she was stationed. She did say had the was not eneded she would have stayed in the Marines. It was great to get what little info we could from her.

I assume this is the address: Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210. Attn: Margaret Taylor. Take care and please tell your aunt Semper Fi from all of us! Sgt. Could someone please tell me how to place an obituary in the Women Marines magazine for a friend of mine, Mary K Bennett, who passed away May 22, 2015 in Portland Oregon? She was one of the first Women Marines in the early 40’s.
